12 Majors Only Not Available All 12 year old players must attend at least one Try-out/Assessment Day session and will play on a Majors team. All returning Majors players must also attend one Try-out/Assessment Day session. Parents of 12 year olds may request play down one level (AAA) only with the approval of the District Little League Board and Little League International Incorporated prior to the draft.
11 Majors or AAA 11 year olds will play Majors if skills warrant and they are drafted onto a Majors team. All 11 year old players must attend at least one Try-out/Assessment Day session. Parents may make a special request for an 11 year old to play only AAA upon approval of the RLL Board of Directors. Players will play AAA if not drafted onto a Majors team

8 AA or A All 8 year olds will be placed on a AA team. 8 year olds may play not play AAA. It is recommended by the RLL Board of Directors that 8 year olds play and develop at the AA level. Parents may make a special request for a 8 year old to play only A upon approval of the RLL Board of Directors.
7 A 7 year olds may play AA if they have completed one year of A Ball or if approved by RLL Board of Directors It is not recommended that 7 year olds play Tee Ball and therefore will not be allowed to play Tee Ball. However, special requests by parents will be considered upon approval of the RLL Board of Directors.
6 Tee Ball 6 year olds may play A by parent’s written request if player has one year of Tee Ball experience or is in the first grade. 6 year olds may play not play AA. It is recommended by the RLL Board of Directors that 6 year olds play and develop at the Tee Ball and/or A level.
