Softball
The Renton Little League softball program is split in to three divisions (described below). Renton Little League will not be able to offer the softball program this season. If you have questions or need assistance please email our League
President.
- Minors : Ages 7 - 12
- Players learn the basic skills and rules of fastpitch softball, including pitching underhand. There are approximately 16 regular season games and a post season tournament. Regular season interlock games within District 7. Teams travel up to 20 miles for these games.
- Majors : Ages 9 - 12
- The Majors division is a competative division. The players improve upon the skills that they learned in the Minors division and learn the windmill pitching motion. There are approximately 16 regular season games and a post season tournament. Regular season interlock games within District 7. Teams travel up to 20 miles for these games.
- Juniors : Ages 13 - 14
- The Juniors division raises the level of competativeness. The players skills are refined and more game tactics are taught. There are approximately 22 regular season games along with post season tournaments. The regular season games are interlock games within District 7 and two other Little League districts. Since there are games with teams from three different districts, the travel required for any particular game may be longer than the 20 miles for Minors and Majors.
