In June, at the conclusion of the regular season, All Star teams are chosen for each of the levels: Senior Major Baseball, Junior Softball, Junior Baseball, Junior Softball, Major Baseball & Major Softball, 9-10 Year Old Baseball and 9-10 Year Old Softball to represent our league in the Little League Baseball and Softball® Tournaments. This is a very difficult task as there are only 12-14 players per team. The teams are introduced at our Little League® Picnic at the end of our regular season.

The first stop on this road for each of our teams is the District 10 Championship Tournament. Our District's Champions continue their journey at the State Championship Tournaments. For more tournament information, please visit District 10's Tournament pages and Little League Baseball® web sites.

HOW ARE THE TEAMS CHOSEN?

Managers & Coaches:

Senior Major Baseball, Senior Softball, Junior Baseball, Junior Softball, Major Baseball & Major Softball
The Manager may be selected in the same manner as the Division Championship team with President and Player Agent recommendation. The Manager will select the coach(es). Managers & coach(es) are subject to BOARD approval.
9-10 Year Old Baseball and 9-10 Year Old Softball
The first choice is that the teams will be managed by a Major Division manager when feasible. The first manager to be selected will be from the second place Major Division team, pending approval. If that Major manager chooses not to manage, the President will appoint a qualified Manager. The manager will select the coach(es). Managers & coach(es) are subject to Board approval.
Possible grounds for exclusion are:

Players:

Senior Baseball, Junior Softball, Major Baseball & Major Softball
Divisions with three or more teams:
  1. The players shall be selected by a vote of the regular season managers.
  2. One ballot per Manager.
  3. Each manager will vote for 12 players from rosters other than their own.
  4. The ballots are tallied by the respective player agent(s) and the President. Each player named on a majority of the ballots will be named to the All-Star team. If there are not enough players to make a roster by majority vote, the remaining players receiving votes on the first ballot, will be placed on a second ballot. Votes on the second ballot will be tallied by rank, based on position on the ballot (i.e., if ten players are listed, first place vote is worth 10 points.) EACH MANAGER WILL VOTE FOR ALL REMAINING PLAYERS ON THE SECOND BALLOT.
  5. The second ballots are to be tallied by the respective player agent(s) and the President. All ballot points will be tallied to determine the top selection of players.
Divisions with two teams:
  1. Divisions with 2 teams will list 16 players on a ballot.
  2. One ballot per manager.
  3. Each Manager will rank the players in order. The first choice (number one) will receive 16 points, second choice will receive 15 points, and so on to player 16, who will receive one point.
  4. The ballots are to be tallied by the respective player agent(s) and the President. All ballot points will be tallied to determine the top selection of players.
Junior Baseball, Junior Softball, 9-10 Year Old Baseball & 9-10 Year Old Softball
  1. All Stars will be selected by try out.
  2. The Player Agent will conduct the try out. Candidates will be evaluated by Player Agent, All-Star Manager, League Managers, Coaches, & Board Members as selected by the Player Agent.

BALLOT CONFIDENTIALITY

The respective player agent will notify the Registrar and the All-Star Manager of the player selection. The manager will then notify the players of their selection.
