Renton Little League operates under a Little League charter.
Renton Little League fields a structured youth baseball program for youths between the ages of 5 and 18 years of age. The program provides regular season baseball, softball, and t-ball teams as well as tournament teams and All-Stars. These tournament teams are comprised of:
Our yearly activities begin with the election of the Board of Directors at the league’s General Membership Meeting in October. In November we kick-off our online sign-ups and in-person registration begins in January. Try-outs/Assessments are in February & early March and games begin in mid April. Our season ends in the middle of June. In late June we feature District 7’s Tournament of Champions and then the District All-Star Tournaments. Renton Little League also features a Fall Ball program with emphasis on learning and development. Our games in Fall Ball are played with other District 7 Fall Ball teams.
The City of Renton, located along the south shore of Lake Washington, is a lakefront city offering spectacular views of the Olympics, the Cascades, and Mount Rainier. The Cedar River which runs through the heart of downtown also offers an abundance of natural beauty. Renton offers a unique quality of life, a strong sense of community, and excellent personal opportunities for residents and businesses. Today, Renton is a community of more than 58,000 residents, with another 35,000 people employed within the city limits.
Our league is able to function through the generous support of our local businesses and sponsors as well as our many volunteers.
The objective of Renton Little League is to provide an opportunity for all boys and girls ages 5 through 18 to participate meaningfully in the sport of baseball/softball, to learn the rules and strategies of the game, and to create an environment for the youth of our community to learn the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage and respect.
To achieve this objective, RLL will provide a supervised program of competitive baseball/softball games under the rules and policies established by Washington State Little League District 7 and the Renton Little League Board of Directors.
